Pont-Aven, two visions of the Breton folklore
One of the first towns to attract foreigners as early as 1860, Pont-Aven is also the hometown of two champions of the Breton culture, Théodore Botrel and Xavier Grall, who both played a role in promoting Brittany... and both had their own vision of how it should be known to the world. A tension between the celebration of tradition and innovation that is still relevant today.

This town, officially recognized as "little city of character" is also known for its famous biscuits -a tasting is offered during this tour.
Duration : 1h

The Pont-Aven art school
Throughout the town, several statues, commemorative plates, reproductions of paintings, pay homage to Paul Sérusier, Emile Bernard, Paul Gauguin and other painters of the Pont-Aven school. Get away from the main streets and walk in the picturesque "Woods of love" to the Trémalo chapel, where the famous Yellow Christ who inspired Gauguin stands.
The woods are, well, woods, so you need stables shoes for this tour!
